Virtual Console: Harvesting the Thunder

Two new entries into the world of Wii’s Virtual Console have landed as Harvest Moon takes root on the Super NES, and Lords of Thunder rock the TurboGrafx16.

Harvest Moon is a sort of farming RPG/simulator for one player that’s rated E for Everyone. You’ll tend crops, raise livestock, and even start a family in this installment of the surprisingly popular franchise. You can get this one down at the marketplace for just 800 Wii Points, or one bushel of corn.

Looking for something a little heavier? Then look no further as Lords of Thunder puts the metal to the pedal as one player blasts their way through six stages with the aid of some heavy metal tunes, along with several sets of magical crystals and armor which can mean the difference between the glory of victory or the agony of defeat. The Lords may have the thunder, but they also have an E-rating, and as a CD-ROM game, costs 800 Wii Points.
