Weekly Round-up (5/17-5/16/23): This week’s biggest gaming news all in one place

While this week may have been dominated by The Witcher 3 news, it wasn't the only game to be in the spotlight. A new Need for Speed game was teased, a Bloodborne expansion mentioned and Destiny's second major expansion, House of Wolves has gone live.

So without further ado, let's take a look at this week's biggest headlines.

Phil Spencer wants to bring 'lots' of Xbox 360 games to Xbox One

Tired of ports and remakes? Might have to get used to them, as Microsoft's Phil Spencer announced that he'd love to see more Xbox 360 franchises come to the Xbox One.

Sony brings back the PlayStation E3 Experience

Sad you couldn't attend E3 and the fantastic press conferences? Sony is once again giving you the chance to feel like you're there by streaming their press conference across theaters in every state in the US and three cities in Canada. Tickets will be free and will be available on May 27th.

Telltale's Game of Thrones: Episode 4 'Sons of Winter' release dates announced

EA's Need for Speed trailer is the biggest tease ever

Need for Speed is getting a new game that looks to recapture the feel of the Underground series. The game has been described as being a reboot, though given that each entry is separate from one another, it's not clear what will classify this game as such.

Sony confirms a Bloodborne expansion is coming

Bloodborne fans can rejoice as the game is confirmed to be receiving an expansion. No word on when exactly, though Sony's President, Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on his Twitter account, that it would be announced later this year.

Hellraid put on hold as Techland shifts development focus to Dying Light

Techland's first-person fantasy hack and slasher, Hellraid, has been put on hold indefinitely.

Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves now live

House of Wolves launched on Tuesday, bringing new modes such as Prison of the Elders and Trials of Osiris, as well as some necessary changes to gear upgrade.
