When Worlds Collide: Link, Wario, and More Join in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion

It’s been awhile since we last checked in on Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, a homebrew action-platformer featuring Mario and numerous other characters in settings not their own, and Lucas’s Sonic article made me want to check in.

The developers have been hard at work on it, creating lots of new characters to play as and unique versions of power-ups for them to use.

First up: Link. He come to town.

Check the description here to see what power-ups Link brings to the dance.

Next up: Wario! He can use his shoulder-bash when small now, so you know he’s-a gonna win! Ahaha!

No enemy can withstand Guts Man’s Ass Wario or Brute Wario!

One nice touch is that the soundbytes only have a 30% chance of playing with an action, rather than every single time. Have a rotten day!

And last, but not least, here’s Arthur of Ghosts n’ Goblins in a Contra-inspired Vegas level. Talk about contrast:

You can see plenty of other videos here, and download the demo here.
