Which Edition?

Death Jr. is the highest profile to release for the PSP this summer and BackBone Entertainment and Konami didn’t want gamers to end summer with a “brown paper bag” wrapping around Death Jr. That is why they are brining a Limited Edition package to the store shelves as well. What is so special about the Limited Edition of Death Jr.? For starters:

-The box art looks different with a foil cover.

-Two UMD cases with Death Jr. logos on them.

-A CD-ROM with the soundtrack for Death Jr. and a digital comic book. They can be transferred to your PSP with a USB cable.

On top of that you get the satisfaction of owning one of the first limited edition packages for the PSP. The question may arise, “What’s the extra cost?” Looking at online retailers, the difference in price is nothing. At most it will be only a few dollars above that if some retailers choose to go that path. No changes to the game have been made between the “Normal” Edition and the Limited Edition so you will still get the same great game if you can’t get your hands on the extra goodies. Ultimately, the its down to the consumer which edition they pick but why not go for the extras if there isn’t a price increase?

Death Jr. is about the Grim Reapers son going on a field trip gone wrong when a box of unspeakalbe evil opens and threatens the world.

Update: We have just recieved word that if you want to get the goodies that accompany Death Jr. and get the limited edition, you need to preorder before 8/14/05. Otherwise you’re out of luck getting your hands on the limited edition. This information comes from a GameStop employee. Sorry for the confustion

This is the last entry to the Death Jr. Week Long Special and we here at PSP Advanced have enjoyed it. Look for our review for Death Jr. as soon as we get out hands on it and play with it for awhile.
