Last month, Microsoft held a Mother’s Day contest titled “My Mom’s a Gamer Contestâ€, allowing for other family members to briefly write about their game obsessed mother for a chance to win an Xbox 360 Elite. This month, for Father’s Day, Microsoft is running another contest titled the “Xbox Dad of the Year Contestâ€.
Microsoft is asking for about 250 to 500 words describing why your dad is the greatest gamer dad out there. Contest entries are due by 11:59 PM PST on June 9. The awards will include an Xbox 360 with HD-DVD attachment, Wireless Racing Wheel and a “VIP†accessory kit: Wireless Controller, 64 MB Memory Unit, Wireless Networking Adapter, Universal Media Remote, 2 Play and Charge Kits, and a 360 metal travel case. Estimated value: over $1,000 in Xbox 360 related goods.
