As a result of the mass lack of ownership of credit cards in Germany, Microsoft has begun marketing a pre-paid credit card to German teenagers for the Xbox Live gaming service.
Although German parents can now get their children a pre-paid credit card, it will still be quite difficult if the parents themselves do not own a credit card.
Not too far from the real thing…
The card works like a normal Visa card, has no yearly fees and 2% interest on the pre-paid balance.
