As many of you may know, Xbox Live released the first part of the new system Tsunami on April 21st. It includes the ability to send a fifteen second voice invitation to your other friends online. Although there are currently no games that support this feature, expect to see many in the near future.
Still to be released are the other new Live features:
Teams: Gamers will be able to easily form teams and notify them of matches, strategies, and even upcoming competitions.
Competitions: Xbox Live empowers gamers to easily create their own tournaments while in-game. It’s as easy as creating tournaments, inviting players, and taking on the competition in all of the great Xbox Live games, across any game genre.
Online Content Swapping: Title-managed online storage allows gamers to create and share mottos, emblems, and custom content. It also allows gamers to create and update maps, rosters, and other environment data.
Level-Playing-Field Technology: New arbitration and reliability technologies reduce players’ ability to cheat online, while increasing reliability ratings for all players and penalizing actions like disconnects during games.
Many of these new features should be released later on this year, along with other hit Xbox Live titles.
