In the video game industry, June is all about E3 and a look at the future of video games. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves though; June has quite a few intriguing games releasing. Xbox One doesn't see any exclusives this month, but there's a few third-party games that are worth at least a look, including Square Enix's Murdered: Soul Suspect and Ubisoft's Valiant Hearts: The Great War. Below are some of the notable Xbox One game releases for June 2014.
Murdered: Soul Suspect – June 3, 2014
Murdered: Soul Suspect puts you in the ghostly body of Detective Ronan O'Connor who was thrown out of a window and shot to death while pursuing the Bell Killer serial-killer. Stuck somewhere in limbo, Ronan must complete whatever unfinished business is preventing him from crossing over "the bridge."

In the game, you'll be able to switch between the heroes of the Autobots and the nefarious Decepticons throughout the single-player campaign.
Valiant Hearts: The Great War – June 25, 2014
Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a puzzle-adventure game from Ubisoft. Set during World War I, it attempts to share the experience of World War I with a younger generation who may not be as familiar with the deadly conflict, also known as the "Great War." The game takes place between 1914 and 1918 and tells the story of five characters: Emile, a French farmer who becomes a prisoner of war when looking for his son-in-law. Freddie, an American soldier fighting in honor of his fallen wife. Ana, a field medic — a "rose in the trenches — surrounded by blood and gore. George, a British aviator who lied about knowing how to fly. The last is Karl, a German soldier lost in the trenches alone and sick with his love for Emile's daughter Marie. These five characters are accompanied through the horrors of war by a canine separated from its owner during an artillery attack. The dog not only helps the characters survive, but also guides players through action sequences and puzzles.
Remember, June also marks the first time Microsoft's Games with Gold will be offered on Xbox One. June offers two free games to Xbox One owners: Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault. So if none of this month's new releases interest you, at least you've got two other free games to play. You can check out the list of PS4 games releasing in June as well, but it doesn't differ too much from this one.
