Xbox To Offer Software?

RICHMOND, Virginia (AMN) — Microsoft today has made a number Japanese press go wild about a new piece of software for the Xbox to boost the popularity of the console, solely to obtain competition with the Playstation products from Sony.

‘I’m not sure whether to be expecting an Xbox refrigerator in the near future or a portable Microsoft console.’ as a blogger from Kotaku stated in his recent blog.

The blogger also mention that their has been no confirmation on whether this software is for the Xbox and/or the Xbox 360.

Bill Gates, the Chairman of Microsoft Corp., hasn’t gave any specific details on what kind of software nor the companies who will be using it. He also never gave any specifics on what types of products that this will be used on except for the possibly of the Xbox/ Xbox 360.

Microsoft plans to launch the Xbox 360 by mid-fall 2005 and Sony to launch the Playstation 3 in this coming Spring 2006. Microsoft hopes that they will capture the eye of Japanese leading competitors as well as consumers.
