Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 hands on preview

At the Bandai Namco America Press Event Showcase it was only necessary to my hands dirty with some Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. As similar to the previous titles, this game represents the anime near perfectly – both in events and visuals. While I only was able to play the demo at the Bandai Namco America Press Event Showcase last week, it was pretty spectacular experience.

The demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was the historic battle between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. Even if you’re not familiar with Naruto, the scale of this battle is beyond massive. The gameplay is a mix of the 3D fighting you’re used to in the series as well as quick-time-esque moments thrown in. These moments include quick dodges, counter attacks, and nearly over the top action.

What first appears to be a battle between two legendary ninjas turns into a brawl between summoned beasts. Through a some combinations into the mix and you have a conflict not on scale with other’s in past Ninja Storm titles. While this demo wasn’t particularly difficult, the gameplay properly relayed the intensity of such a grand scale conflict. If this sets the bar as what to expect in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, the fans will be more than pleased.

As of now there is no North American release date but the game is boasting more characters than any previous Ninja Storm game to date; the game is slated to be released this year though (2015). The range of battles will range from the Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha battle mentioned above to The Last: Naruto the Movie. Also, the Shinobi World War will be recreated. Keep an eye out for updates on this title!
