Nintendo Predicts Big Numbers For the Holiday
kombo -
While some predicted that Nintendo's 2009 holiday would be relatively disappointing compared to the company's godly numbers of the past, Nintendo is predicted that we haven't seen anything else. Although the December NPD won't be released until January 14, Nintendo predicts that Wii sales in December exceeded 3 million units for the month. As for the DS, Nintendo is predicting a big-time showing for their handheld set an all-time record for the month.
As for software, Nintendo is predicting that New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the big winner, and is reaching 4 million worldwide. What does this all mean? Fat sacks of cash for Reggie and co. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was.
