Rei III has strengthened, she is slowly becoming the Bloodborne, and it’s time to take on the next optional boss, the Blood-starved Beast. First things first, ecupid slow-poison resist gear – at this point you should have the Yharnam Hunter Gear, wear this. BSB is agile so your windows to punish him are short. Fight him in one of the halls with the pillars so he has less room to run around. He does a sort of U-Turn move that is highly punishable if he runs into a pillar or wall. He does combos that he does regardless if he hits or not, stand behind him turning this and just swing away. The Blood-starved Beast has three phases. During the second phase his attacks have slow-poison attached, have antidotes at the ready. During phase 3, he roars and gets an aura of poison. If you’re wearing the Yharnam Hunter Gear this basically counters the aura. Don’t get eaten and whittle him down until victory. Its death unlocks the first chalice
