Happy Friday, fellow Guardians. Another Friday in Destiny means another new batch of gear from our favorite mysterious vendor, Xur, the Agent of the Nine. And this time, he’s brought something brand new.
If you recall, the recent update to Destiny changed the way you upgrade Exotic items. Ascendant Materials have been removed from the game, and in their place are Exotic Shards. These Exotic Shards can be obtained through dismantling unwanted Exotics, or by purchasing them from Xur for seven (7) Strange Coins, making him even more valuable.
