Fallout 4 was one of the most anticipated games of 2015. It had an awesome reveal 6 months prior to release and was going to be the long-awaited sequel to what is considered one of the best RPGs ever made. People could barely contain their excitement, it was an event among gamers. The game released in November of that year, it got fantastic reviews but fans felt it didn’t innovate enough to really justify the wait between sequels. Regardless, people played the hell out of it and it made Bethesda a ton of dough and gave them a warm fuzzy feeling.

During an interview with Kinda Funny, Bethesda’s Marketing Executive Pete Hines discussed the game’s massive success. It was so successful, that it tops 2011’s smash hit, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
