Black Wii Controllers Dated and Priced
kombo -
Nintendo today confirmed that black Wii remotes, nunchucks, and motion pluses will be available in North America starting November 16th. The Wii remote and motion plus will be henceforth packaged as a bundle.
In September Nintendo announced the bundle and new Wii controller colors along with the new DSi colors, but gave no dates or prices then.
Now we know that the bundle will be sold for $49.99 – effectively halving the price of the motion plus to $10 in addition to the remote. The nunchuck will still be sold alone and remain at $19.99. The bundle will come with the remote and motion plus wrapped in new black Wii controller jackets.
There is no word yet on when or if there will be a black Wii console in North America. Nintendo launched one in Japan this past summer alongside black controllers including the black classic controller pro which still hasn't been announced here.
